On Yemen and Saudi Arabia – Sharmine Narwani
Here’s a radio interview I did with LA-based, current affairs host Ian Masters on Yemen, Saudi Arabia and what’s to come:
Hard to tell precisely what comes next, but I suspect we may see more of the air, sea and land sieges that has become the strategy-du-jour of existing powers. The blockade is meant to “apply pressure” on the general population in order to “change behaviors,” but will instead take Yemen’s humanitarian disaster to a new level and harden Houthi resolve.
